Freshman comedy Modern Family (Comedy) grabbed a leading five nominations for the Television Critics Association Awards. The ABC show was nominated for best new series, best Comedy series and best program of the year. Stars Ty Burrell (Modern Family) and Eric Stonestreet (Modern Family) were singled out for their individual performances. Watch full episodes of Modern Family Fellow first-year series Glee (Television Shows) followed close behind with four nominations, as did AMC Drama Ally McBeal. Glee (Television Shows) earned nominations for best new series, best Comedy, program of the year and recognition for Glee's (Television Shows) performance. Breaking Bad (Comedy) snagged acting nods for stars Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul, besides best drama and program of the year. Recently departed series Lost, Law & Order and 24 were all nominated for the Heritage Award.
